How long does the battery last?
Up to a year on standby from one charge. The alarm with light runs for about 90 minutes. It charges with the included USB-C cable in about an hour.
How big and heavy is it?
30 × 96 × 12 mm and 25 g. Smaller than a car key, fits even a small bag. The carabiner is included.
Can it handle rain?
Yes, it is made for everyday wear outdoors, rain included. Do not submerge it in water or leave it wet for long.
Using it
How do I start and stop the alarm?
Pull the top part: the siren and flashing light start. Push the top part back in to stop it. No buttons, no panic.
Is it legal? Can I take it on a plane?
Yes, 100 %. It is not a weapon, it is a siren with a light. You can carry it anywhere in the EU, to school, to work and on a plane in hand luggage.
Do I need an app or a phone?
No. KIRAO works on its own, with no phone, app or signal. That is why it works even when your phone is out of reach.
How do I carry it?
Clip it to your keys, handbag, backpack strap, belt loop or stroller handle. What matters is that you can reach it without searching.
Is it suitable for kids and seniors?
Yes. It needs no strength, aiming or training, just one pull. Clip it to a child's backpack or to a senior's keys or handbag.
Delivery and payment
Where do you deliver and how long does it take?
We deliver across the EU. Slovakia and Czechia usually within 1 to 3 working days (courier or Packeta pickup point), the rest of the EU within 3 to 7 working days. We ship the same or the next working day.
How much is shipping?
Orders over 50 € ship for free. Below that, you see the exact price for your chosen delivery method in the checkout, before you pay.
How can I pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. In Slovakia and Czechia also cash on delivery. All methods and any fees are shown in the checkout.
Can I order as a company?
Yes. For company orders or larger quantities, write to us via contact and we will prepare an invoice and a quote.
Returns and warranty
How long do I have to return an order?
30 days from delivery, no questions asked. The KIRAO must be undamaged, in its original packaging and with all accessories. We refund the full amount. See the Returns and claims page for the steps.
What is the warranty?
24 months. If anything goes wrong, contact us and we will sort it out quickly and without fuss.
What if the alarm goes off by accident?
Nothing to worry about. Push the top part back in and the alarm stops immediately. The top part holds firmly, so normal wear will not set it off.
